Insbesondere beleuchten sie die Erfahrungsbereiche intersektionaler Identit\u00e4t in ihrer Verschr\u00e4nkung: Frausein, Schwarzsein und Lesbisch-\/Queer-Sein. Der Fokus liegt auf Beschreibungen des Alltags, der Sexualit\u00e4t und von Diskriminierungserfahrungen. Es lassen sich autobiografische und zeitgeschichtliche Bez\u00fcge feststellen.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Die Gedichte entstanden in den 1980er Jahren im Zusammenhang der Schwarzen Frauenbewegung in West-Berlin. Die Dichterin Audre Lorde spielte f\u00fcr St. Louis eine pr\u00e4gende Rolle (Robinet, 2023, S. 190f.). Angeregt von Lorde setzte St. Louis Poesie als Widerstandsinstrument ein (vgl. Lorde: <em>Poetry is Not A Luxury<\/em> (1985)) und eignet sich Sprache als Medium der Emanzipation und des Ausdrucks von kollektiver Identit\u00e4t an. Wie Lorde thematisiert St. Louis in der Lyrik nicht nur die Bedingungen der eigenen Identit\u00e4t, sondern reflektiert auch den antidiskriminierenden Aktivismus. So finden sich auch in St. Louis\u2019 poetischer Praxis Motive der Lebensrealit\u00e4t und selbstbestimmte Narrative (vgl. Lorde: <em>The Transformation of Silence into Language <\/em>(1977)) (Bolaki &amp; Broeck, 2015). H\u00e4ufig erz\u00e4hlen die Gedichte als hart und schmerzlich empfundene Erfahrungen einer Figur oder des sprechenden Ichs im Arbeitsalltag. Sie thematisieren zum Beispiel das Miterleben von Todesangst, das Entweichen des Lebens (S. 21, 41, 71) und die Eint\u00f6nigkeit des Pflegedienstes (S. 31, 42). Die Konfrontation mit dem eigenen Anderssein in einer heteronormativen wei\u00dfen Mehrheitsgesellschaft ist dauerhafter Begleiter im t\u00e4glichen Leben des Ichs (S. 39, 58f., 85, 105ff.). Der autofiktionale Bezug zu St. Louis\u2019 aktivistischem Engagement f\u00fcr die Rechte homosexueller Schwarzer Frauen ist unverkennbar.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Im Entstehungszeitraum der Gedichte gewann die Schwarze Bewegung an Einfluss in Form von Organisationen wie der Initiative Schwarzer Deutscher (ISD) und der Schwarzen Frauen in Deutschland (ADEFRA). Sie erk\u00e4mpfte ein \u201efeministische[s] Produktions- und Vertriebsnet[z] f\u00fcr B\u00fccher und andere Medien\u201c (Robinet, 2023, S. 190) und aktivistische Caf\u00e9s mit Angeboten f\u00fcr Veranstaltungen und Vernetzung. In solchen gemeinschaftlichen R\u00e4umen bewegte sich auch St. Louis und trat beispielsweise als Performance-Poet:in auf (Robinet, 2023, S. 191). \u201eMit den lyrischen Arbeiten und sp\u00e4ter den Gedichtb\u00e4nden von Schwarzen Akteurinnen wie Guy Nzingha St. Louis, May Ayim, Ana Herrero Villamor und Raja Lubinetzki [wurden] neue literarische politische R\u00e4ume er\u00f6ffnet. Lebensrealit\u00e4ten und Handlungszusammenh\u00e4nge von Schwarzen Frauen [wurden] auf verschiedenen Ebenen einer gr\u00f6\u00dferen \u00d6ffentlichkeit zug\u00e4nglich gemacht. Es [zeigte] sich eine Stimmen- und Perspektivenvielfalt, die pr\u00e4gend [wurde] f\u00fcr die Wissensproduktion der Schwarzen Community in Deutschland. Vor allem die fr\u00fchen anti-heteronormativen Positionierungen in den lyrischen und performativen Arbeiten von Guy Nzingha St. Louis sind kennzeichnend f\u00fcr die feministische Strukturierung der Schwarzen rassismuskritischen Bewegung in Deutschland.\u201c (Eggers [Auma], Mohamed, 2014, S. 61)<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>St. Louis erwirkt exemplarisch f\u00fcr die Bewegung Sichtbarkeit f\u00fcr marginalisierte Perspektiven, indem die Gedichte \u201ethe many names of a woman\u201c (S. 27) illustrieren. St. Louis greift f\u00fcr die Community spezifische Themen wie die vielschichtige Beschreibung von weiblicher und lesbischer Identit\u00e4t (S. 15), Liebe (S. 55f.) und Sex (S. 33f.) aus Schwarzer (vgl. S. 117) Ich-Perspektive (vgl. S. 106) auf. Auch leben die Figuren in den Gedichten sexuelle Fantasien aus, die sonst tabuisiert werden (vgl. S. 33, 49f., 57ff., 73, 83, 113f.), n\u00e4mlich die einvernehmlich als lustvoll erfahrene Erduldung und Zuf\u00fcgung von Schmerz (BDSM).<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Die Gedichte thematisieren auch Erfahrungen von Queerfeindlichkeit, Rassismus und Sexismus (S. 106f., 111). Das lyrische Ich spricht mehrfach mit dem Pronomen \u201esie\u201c \u00fcber ein Gegen\u00fcber und weist diesem normativ als weiblich assoziierte K\u00f6rpermerkmale zu. Die Gedichte bilden h\u00e4ufig (lesbische) Zweierkonstellationen dieser Art ab und problematisieren sie, zum Beispiel unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Geschlechterrollen (S.15). Dar\u00fcber hinaus \u00fcben die Gedichte Gesellschaftskritik aus einer marginalisierten Perspektive (\u201eeinsamkeit\u201c, S. 115; S. 105ff.).
